Step 1 -Installing the Component
Please use the Joomla Installer to install your component
Step 2 - Add Licence Key
In your Joomla administrator components menu, in the drop down menu below choose the ePDQ CPI Payment this will bring you to the components main page:
Click 'Enter Licence' and enter a valid Licence Key. Your Licence Key is also your download Id
See the payment setup instructions on the left side of the page. This section gives your Callback URL (Payment Response URL )
Step 3 - CPI Admin Tool
Login to your CPI Admin :

Now to enter your details.
Step 4 -Edit Payment Method
On the component admin page click 'Edit Payment Method'. You should now be viewing the general tab in the Payment Method Form :
- Make sure it is ticked in the active box ( if you want customer to use this method )
- The Payment method name can be anything this is what your customer will see when choosing a payment method ! ie: secure payments through epdq etc
- Do not edit the code / payment class name
- Ensure the payment method type is set to PayPal ( or related )
Step 5 -Payment Method Config
Next click the Configuration tab:
- Make sure your license says Valid License
- Enter your client ID in the correct box according to account currency
- Enter Your ePDQ passphrase
- Enter your merchant name, ePDQ Merchant Name displayed on ePDQ payment pages.
- Enter either Auth or PreAuth , If you select PreAuth you will need to complete the transaction in the ePDQ control panel
- Leave the callback IP's as set
- Text and background colour can be changed to suit your template
- If you have a SSL secure merchant image enter the link here, e.g. https://www.yoursite.com/yourimage.jpg
Now press save in the top right hand corner.
